Young female steinbock
So a month ago we tried to go to the Grand Veymont (going past the summit of Peyre Rouge). We did not make it to the summit, partly because we spent some time watching a big group of steinbocks (Bouquetin in french). Internet says the rut (reproduction) season is mainly in december, but we already had some horn smashing between younger individuals, and some older folks going in lapses (showing off?).
